The purpose or purposes for which the corporation is formed are to encourage and assist in the programming, maintenance, operations, enhancement and improvement of the Clarence Fahnestock State Park and the Hudson Highlands State Park (the “Parks) in Putnam and Dutchess Counties, New York, and the scenic, historical, wilderness, wildlife, open space, education and outdoor recreational values of the Parks for the cultural, physical, spiritual and economic benefit of the people of the surrounding communities and the State.
